We bring you onto the shoulders of giants.

Through our English Masterclass, you will be equipped with complete knowledge of grammar in less than one year, enabling you to use the language at will—both seamlessly and creatively, be it listening, speaking, reading, or writing.

Our STEM Accelerator is essentially a fast-track program that brings your knowledge of the natural world from IGCSE level all the way to that required to enroll in any hard science degree in Oxford as well as Cambridge University.

What makes a lesson great?

Our teachers explain what we do to ensure our students get the best out of each and every lesson.
(TL;DR: We know, and we care.)

Education beyond the here and now.

At Y1 Education, we go the extra mile to connect the dots to higher learning, giving you all you need—and more—to not only excel in secondary school but also get ready for university, for your dream; that is, we begin with your end in mind.

IGCSE®+

English
Masterclass

Through our English Masterclass, you will be equipped with complete knowledge of grammar in less than one year, enabling you to use the language at will—both seamlessly and creatively, be it listening, speaking, reading, or writing.

Not only do our lessons run parallel to the syllabus of IGCSE First Language English or IB MYP4&5-equivalent, but they go much beyond to meet the criteria of major university placement tests: IELTS, TOEFL, MUET, SAT, and AP-equivalent.

Like karate, grammar requires serious footwork. You’ll spend your first year (EM1) developing your mental muscle as to how the English language works from the inside out—all its grammatical forms and functions.

  • CEFR B1-C1 grammar: form & function
  • CEFR B1-B2 vocabulary: reading & writing
  • Recommended for Year 5–9
  • Full program lasts 40 weeks, 120 hours

When the rules are fully understood, you will go out of your way to bend and twist them, maybe even break them, or design your own from the get-go. When you master the toolkit of a writer, the palette of an artist, sky’s the limit.

  • CEFR C2 grammar: syntactic transformation
  • CEFR C1-C2 reading and world literature
  • CEFR C2 multimodal and thematic writing
  • Recommended for Year 7–11
  • Full program lasts 40 weeks, 120 hours

Our STEM Accelerator is essentially a fast-track program that brings your knowledge of the natural world from IGCSE level all the way to that required to enroll in any hard science degree in Oxford as well as Cambridge University.

How fast, you ask? We expect our students to complete IGCSE Math, Add Math, and Sciences by age 15, and A Level Math, Further Math, and Sciences by 16—after which they focus on university placement, while we guide them in exploring their higher academic pathway.

Hello, Future.

“The many hidden forces underlying our here and now have a way of distracting us from what truly matters in education, which, in its present form, rather than human development, serves to fill the labor market, and to keep the competition going, a competition not on the basis of knowledge, but of individual wants. To lose sight of the material purpose of education, i.e. to progress human society, is to succumb to the status quo and accept it as the end-all and be-all, a notion we staunchly reject, and so will you in the course of your journey. Join the transformation.”

Unlock the world with us.

It is impossible to overstate just how important your generation is to the human story—which is why we take education with a sense of urgency, with progress always in mind, and with due respect to science, whether natural or social. Pretty or ugly, triumphs and downfalls, we show you all of it, as we go on a quest to examine our past, critique our present, and envision our future, a future that now lies in your hands.
